$500-$1,000 Robotics Grants
The AFCEA San Diego Education Committee provides up to $1,000 to science teachers and mentors coaching a 5th through 12th-grade robotics team. The grants are intended for the purchase of materials for robotics programs. The awards are competitive and require the approval of the school principal.
Interested teachers and mentors may apply by filling out the AFCEA Robotics Grant Application. Please attach a short, detailed description of how the funds will be used. Grant requests will be accepted between January 1st and August 5th.
Completed application packets must be received via email sent to Pete Schmitz, Robotics Scholarship Chairman, at petechmitz3@gmail.com. Applications received after August 5th will not be considered. Applicants are responsible for the completeness and timeliness of their submissions. Awards will be announced in the fall.
