San Diego Futures Foundation
The San Diego Futures Foundation (SDFF) is a 501 (C) 3 nonprofit organization created to establish accessibility to information technology resources, increase computer literacy, and provide job training and education to the children, youth, and families of San Diego County. They accomplish these goals through the delivery of computer hardware, software, communications, and training to County residents.
The SDFF was formed in late 1999 by the Pennant Alliance, a consortium of high technology companies consisting of Computer Sciences Corporation, Science Applications International Corporation, SBC, and Avaya Inc. Providing information technology and telecommunications services to the County of San Diego, the Pennant Alliance wanted a way to give back to the community.
The San Diego Futures Foundation looks forward to supporting AFCEA’s educational programs that enable school children and teachers through technology access, training, and education.
